Going public!

So far, I have mapped the area from a historical, current, and future point of view. In this period I zoom in to mapping the territory from the current perspective to redefining the image of the place and what Rohan Island means to me and my surroundings, what his face is and what his collective awareness is. I focus on public opinion and how it can be reimagined through movement. In my experiments, I deal with mapping a place from a mental and physical incorporating people’s imagination. I am approaching people and ask them how they would name Rohan Island ("landscape nicknaming") based on their experience and relationship with the space. From their responses (written or being said) I make collage and build a common mental image that is shared:
