Today I am going to discover the structure and characteristic of the brownfield Rohan Island, which is extraordinary for its rich history, but also for (non) use today. I will make an audio recording and collect material to help me get closer to the place. I will meet the artist Epos 257, who, like me, deals with the topic of post-socialist development and destruction of the territory, and we will reflect on the meaning and future for the inhabitants of Prague.

In the search for the character and structure of the place, time affected me the most. Bodies react very strongly to space, large spaces and buildings, which seem to line space in the distance, slow down time. I recorded sounds that I will continue to work with in the studio and find out how this single element - sound affects my actions and physical expressions.
Another aspect of Rohan City is its nooks and crannies, which act as an escape from reality. Can we use these urban jungles to calm our souls in cities? Do these places contribute to "urban well being"? I think definitely! Another specific thing that means that people come here and express themselves artistically are random amateur art works or installations. In the bushes I discovered a garden made of plastic flowers, spray or chalk shapes or still life made of building material, it is evident that people can create this place. Come with me to engage creativity and imagination as well, listen to Rohan's track on the main page and observe what images begin to reveal in you. Have a great trip!
